The new school year brings two new additions to the staff of the Partners in Education Foundation.

In June, Partners welcomed Amanda Crocker as the new program director of the ArtWorks program. Crocker succeeds Kristin Watson, who has retired after eight years leading the program.

Crocker was born in Santa Fe and raised between here and Los Angeles. She is a graduate of the University of New Mexico with a double major in anthropology and Spanish. Prior to joining Partners, Crocker worked as Director of Programs and Marketing at El Rancho de las Golondrinas living history museum for 11 years, coordinating 11 public events per year, and handling all the advertising and media relations. Other non-profit experience includes six years at Santa Fe’s Cornerstones Community Partnerships, a community-based historic preservation organization.

Lisa Arnold joined Partners in August as the new Field Trip Coordinator/Office Manager.  Arnold succeeds Stella Gonzales, who has joined Santa Fe Public Schools as a teacher for Gonzales Community School.

Arnold was born in Taos and raised in Northern New Mexico. She is a graduate of the University of New Mexico where she majored in communications and journalism.  After five years working in advertising for the Journal North, she returned to school and obtained a degree in interior design from Santa Fe Community College.  Before joining Partners, she worked in the local interior design community as an associate interior designer and project manager in both residential design for Wiseman & Gale & Duncan Interiors, and later in commercial design for Creative Interiors Inc.
